Police Seek Aaron Pennington in Connection With Wife's Death
The 33-year-old is driving a white Mercedes and may have changed his license plates
In his LinkedIn profile, Aaron Pennington said he was a former Air Force Mechanic “with an active secret clearance” working for U.S. defense contractor Raytheon in missiles and defense. Now, the 6’2” 33-year-old is wanted by the Gardner, MA police, who believe he killed his wife.
Just after 9 Sunday morning, law enforcement responded to distress calls from the Cherry Street home Pennington owned with wife Breanne “Breezy” Pennington. They found her dead in the rear of the house. She’d been shot in the face. The couple’s four children, ages 2 through 9, were physically unharmed—but according to the Worcester District Attorney's Office, the kids were inside the home when the shooting occurred. They are now with the Department of Children and Families.
Boston-area news reports indicate relatives and neighbors painted the Air Force veteran as a devout churchgoer and a caring soul. However, Pennington has vanished along with his white 2013 BMW Model 320 bearing Massachusetts Veteran license plates with the number 8A30. Massachusetts State Police reportedly believe Pennington swapped his plates for Texas (DTZ 3103) or California (6CWN728) plates.
A Twitter (or X) user going by “Jas” claimed to be Breanne Pennington’s cousin. On Sunday night, she posted this message:
EAST COAST FOLLOWERS:
Please please please, if you see Aaron Pennington, please call it in.
My cousin deserves justice, and my family deserves answers.
Her four kids are without their parents, no child deserves this at all.
Pennington’s bio on his Facebook profile read, “Father, and Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.” In a post dated June 18, he wrote in part, “I know that when I grow into the best version of myself I will always remember the woman that supported me in this. That is my one true love Breezy! You are the most important human being on this earth that I have come to know.”
Call 911 if you see Pennington or his vehicle. Authorities believe he is armed and dangerous.
I’m confident he will turn up soon. Those poor kids.
